remembering four days of bliss at Bonnaroo

So, I was fortunate enough this year to go to my first Bonnaroo. My friends have gone for the past 4 years, making this year their fifth. All the while I had never gone to one. Well my luck changed this year as my friend just happened to have another ticket. Now back from the festival I understand why they’ve gone for 5 years in a row. It wasn’t so much the music, I felt, that made the 4 days of madness. But, when surrounded by 70,000 + people who are having a good time, no matter how unrelated you might feel you are with the (fried out) people, it heightens your experience unlike any concert can. Simply put, I was happy every single day. Even with waiting in traffic for 10 hours, sweltering heat and my body worn out from walking it was unlike any other experience. I wanted to take more photos, but I wanted to rather enjoy myself as much as I could. Here are some of my favs from the four days:
