One thing that I knew I had to do after going to the journalism convention in Kansas City was as a photojournalist to work outside of just photography and integrate myself into a more video/online world.
Each issue of the newspaper we do a “day in the life” of some one who we feel has a story that not many people get to hear. For this last issue we did one of a volunteer salvation army bell ringer. Because this was the last issue I had to get at least one audio slide-show under my belt. I’m happy with it. Not great, but I’m glad I finally made one. So here it is:
